WHAT TO WEAR – Pole Classes
Wear comfy workout clothes that let you move easily! Avoid anything too loose for safety, and rememberโsome pole moves need shorts for leg grip!
You can layer up, but we recommend a tank top, leg warmers, knee pads, or over-the-knee socks. Start barefoot or in socks, then step up to stilettos if you’re feeling bold (totally optional, but awesome!). Shoes are available or you can purchase them in the studio!
No Booty Shorts in your closet? You will find plenty in our Vixen Boutique!
Brass Vixens App
We recommend downloading our app, Brass Vixens (available for Android and iPhone) to view our schedule and register for classes. The app makes signing up and managing your schedule a breeze! Android App | Apple App

Pole Beginner 1
Everyone starts their pole journey in Pole Beginner 1. This class will teach you pole fundamentals, spins, strength holds, dance and mat work to build core, upper body strength, mobility and flexibility. There is a minimum number of classes you must take before getting an assessment with an instructor to move up to the next level.
Pole 2
This class will build on what your learned in Beginner 1 and expand your dancing and spins, increase your strength and flexibility. We suggest you have shorts on hand for climbing. Prerequisite: Must have a Pink Slip from Beginner 1 to enter this level!
All Levels Pole Dance Classes
These classes are open to dancers of all levels – but not recommended for first timers or complete beginners. Once you have taken at least 5-8 Pole Beginner 1 classes you can start exploring choreography-focused classes. You will be using basic pole moves that should be familiar to you learned from Beginner 1, explore different transitions and flows with the opportunity to express yourself and try various dance and movement styles.
