Studio Etiquette, Studio Entry, Classes, and Exiting

Important: Please take a moment to read over our policies.

Arriving At The Studio

  • The studio doors will open 10 minutes before class time. Please do not arrive earlier
  • Masks will be required in the main areas – the exception is during class while you are working out you can temporarily remove it – but we encourage you to keep it on if you are able to
  • Physical distancing must be practiced at all times while on premises
  • If this is your first time back, there will be an updated waiver you can sign online from your computer before your first visit.

Check-In At Front Desk

  • Check-in will be one person at a time
  • Clean plastic bins will be provided for your personal belongings to minimize contact with another person’s items
  • If you’re taking a pole class you will be handed a plastic bin with your own pole spray and cloth, no sharing!
  • Wash your hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer before entering the classroom!
  • There will be no rentals/equipment to borrow.  Water fountain will be closed. You may bring your own mat/kneepads/grip/water bottle

We encourage you to wear your workout clothes to the studio when possible, but you can change if you need to – change rooms will be single use and disinfected frequently.

Waiting Rooms
Will be closed. We love to hang out and chat but right now we have to keep things moving!

Will be single use only – Only one person may enter the washroom at a time. Wipes/spray will be available in the washroom for wiping down hard surfaces after each use. Please dispose of wipes in the garbage!


  • There will be marked lines for your personal space
  • Pole – There will be no pole share and no spotting. Classes will be structured to ensure everyone stays at least 6’ apart
  • Mat classes – Everyone will stay in their mat area which will be minimum 6’ away from other mats
  • Floor-based dance classes will remain online for now (ie. Floorplay, Strip Plastic, etc.)
  • Aerial and lyra – Aerial hammocks will be single use and washed between classes. Lyra hoops will be untaped and disinfected between each use

After Class

  • You will wipe down your pole after class and return your pole spray and cloth bin to the desk to be sanitized for the next class
  • Please leave as soon as class is finished so that staff have enough time to sanitize and prepare the studio for the next class

General Studio Policies

Sign-Up Policy
Registration opens 4 days before class at midnight. You can sign up online using our online schedule or via our Brass Vixens App for iPhones (via App Store) or Android devices at (via Google Play Store).

All reservations are held until class begins.

Late Policy
Studio doors will open 10 minutes before class time. There will be no admittance to class 5 minutes after start time. This is for both your safety and courtesy for others, and we ask that you respect both our staff and other students by showing up on time.

We do not accept phone calls for lateness.

If you are taking TTC, we recommend that you give yourself some extra travel in case of any public transit delays due to Covid-19 distancing protocols.

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy has changed from 12 hours notice to 6 hours. As long as you cancel at least six(6) hours before your scheduled class or the wait list, you will not be charged or you will get your class credit back automatically; ie. If your class is at 7pm, you must cancel by 1pm.

You must cancel online using our online schedule or the Brass Vixens App. We do not accept phone or e-mail cancellations.


  • Late Cancel: If you do not cancel 6 hours or less before class time, you will be charged a $10 fee
  • No Show: If you do not show up to your scheduled class, you will be charged a $20 fee

Pass holders will use up a class credit for a late cancel or no show. The above fees are automatically added to your account and must be paid upon notice.

Wait List Policy
If classes are full you can sign up to be on the wait list, as sometimes students will cancel early from classes making room for those on the wait list.

When a student cancels their class (with more than 6 hours notice) you will receive an automatic email notifying you that you have been moved from the wait list into class. If you are added into class, you will be expected to show up and the same cancellation policy applies*.

*If you are not sure you will be able to make it with short notice, please remove yourself from the wait list to avoid any charges in case you are automatically added from the wait list.

Non-Refund Policy
Refunds are not offered.

Promotional Memberships
Promotional memberships purchased at a reduced rate are to be activated before their expiry and used in full upon activation over the allotted period. Promo memberships cannot be put on hold once activated.

Level Changes
Each curriculum we teach has a specific minimum class requirement. Please e-mail [email protected] for details. In addition, we require an instructor recommendation for all level changes. If you are from another pole studio and have previous experience, please e-mail us. We may schedule you for an assessment with a qualified instructor and then update your account accordingly.
